Her parents are divorced and while her father still lives in Manhattan, New York, her and her mother have moved back to Okinawa.
Kaeda has an unusual ability to control many elements, rather than just one, but she has not manged to learn to control her powers and sometimes uses them without even wanting to.
On a Holiday to Avrin Island with her mother, Kaeda ran away and has still not returned home.
Not long after she ran away she was taken in by Sky Takigawa [link] But as sky can only teach her to control fire, it is now up to ner to learn how to manage her unique gift!
